Creating a character is the basis of all RPG's so
of course the same thing applies here.
Note:
At the start of any RP sessions, this sheet must be given to a GM so he/she can see what kind of a person the new player is, and to judge if the character is 'legal' to use.
Explanation:
Character name - The name for the character.
Age - The age of the character.
Gender - The gender of the character
Race - The race of the character
Stats
Might - The strength of the character, this will be a factor in many different jobs, having too low might whilst applying for a job that requires a lot of might will end with the character not getting the job.
Constitution - For each point in constitution you will receive 5 points of health.
Nimbleness - This is the measure for agility, nimbleness is a highly favored trait among those whom live.. Unsavory lives. This also decides how fast you attack.
Speed - The higher speed the high stamina your character will have, your character will be able run faster and longer depending on how high the speed is.
Concentration - Concentration is a highly valued trait among those whom use their heads for work, the higher concentration the faster the character will finish his assignments.
Willpower - Willpower affects how much mana a character have, as well as increasing mana based attacks.
Charisma - Charisma is a trait of those whom strive to become famous through work, high charisma helps getting lower prices when buying items, as well as allowing characters to gain promotions faster in work that focuses on being well spoken or simply just looking good.
Background - This is not unlike the Bio part of the character sheet, however unlike Bio this actually affects your stats and other parts of your character.
You simply choose a background from the pool of backgrounds made available (Such as being born from a family of traveling merchants will give you a permanent discount of 5%)
Proficiency - This is basically the starting abilities your characters start with, you choose two from the pool of proficiencies and those will be your main abilities. (Such as "Bow", "Sword", "Axe")
Throughout the game you will be able to learn more.
Natural ability - Here you choose from a pool of low level abilities what you wish your character to start out with. Such as; Basic Mathematics(Helps inventors and engineers), Natural Hunter(Bows are charged faster and it unlocks the ability to zoom in) or Magic (Allows the user to cast low level spells from the start). (There will be more than those 3 obviously)
Morality - From the very start of the game, you can choose to be either Lawful evil, Neutral, or Lawful good. (I know this is D&D way of doing things, however. It is actually quite hard coming up with better names for stages of evil or good.)
Bio - The bio does not change your characters stats, at most the appearance. (However, in-game you will be able to(And are able to do so already to some degree) change the looks of the characters. Make sure it fits with what background you choose.)

Welcome to the Phantasiae Vivant RP!
Welcome to the Phantasiae Vivant RP!
Hello and welcome everyone!
My name is Rasmus, but I mainly go by the name "Etarnalazure" (Yes, I am aware it is misspelled, however that is my gamer name, and I've stuck with it for years now.)
I am currently in the works of making a rather expansive RPG focusing on living a life in a fantasy medieval world, more than anything else.
Now, lets get down to business, and lets do it Q&A style;
Q: Why did I create this blog?
A: Seeing as I am not a world renown author (Or even close to that), I decided to ask a lady friend of mine for help creating a story for my game, because unlike me, she IS actually making headway as a author.
She runs D&D runs quite often and has quite a following, and not only that, shes also quite active in any roleplay she can find.
So together we came up with the idea of forming a roleplay, set in the world I am creating for my game, using the story and people that join in as inhabitants in the world.
We thought this was a great way to give those npc you usually just skip over some personality and back story. (Seeing as now each one of them will have a story from an actual roleplayer!)
So, to get back to the question "Why did I create this blog?":
I created it to inform of the rules of the roleplay as well as a disclaimer.
So here goes:
Rules (This are very temporary and will be changed as the roleplay moves ahead):
Sexual roleplay - It is allowed, however you will need to remember that this game will be released to all ages. So sex and stuff akin to that will very much be censored in a way that gives the idea that sex had been going on, but no details will be given about the sex.
Sex in general - This roleplay is not a place to find sex slaves, slaves and other BDSM related things,
leave who you are at the door and reinvent yourself!
Countries - So far there is 3 different countries, each with its own set of rules. What is allowed in one may not be allowed in another.
These are the following countries and their back stories (Very rough):
Estraden – An industrial country, known for its prowess with technology as well as magic. The kingdom is a monarchy lead by the king Antonolias.
Den – A highly militaristic country, known mainly for their militant might, and cruelty to any country they have defeated. The country is led by a president and his council of 6. Each of the councilors are all generals that have seen many battles and are regarded as gods of war for their prowess in combat as well as their strategic thinking.
Feirich – A largely underdeveloped country, led by no one man but by a council of 13 different tribes, All tribes that rose to power by trampling the bodies of lesser tribes. The country is best known for its savagery as well as the many monsters that inhabit it. Only the most fierce people would be able to survive in this country.
Also, the first country to be set up is Estraden.
Language - The language will be in English, however we will allow 'fantasy' languages as well.
However, you will need to be able to translate what you say upon request. (This will happen in OOC(OOC = Out of Character, when writing OOC, you will need to put brackets around what you say to show it is not part of the roleplay))
Races - So far there's only one race that has been guaranteed as part of the game, this is mainly because of the fact that I lack a 3D artist, and have so far only used payed assets.
However, the races that are allowed are;
Elves,
Humans,
Dwarves,
Orcs,
Goblins,
Beastmen/Beastwomen
Know your race! - You wanting to be a big and awesome character is just fine, however know what your race really is. Joining the RP as a Drow and suddenly acting like you're the most manly man of men and all women should bow to you is NOT okay! Drow is a matriarchy, meaning the males are NOT in charge, the women are.
No god-mode, you are NOT a god - You are not allowed to god mode yourself, you are not a god and you will not become one. Everyone is equal except for the areas your character has trained.
Note: To any and all newbies, god-mode refers to taking control of the battle and not allowing the opponent to attack back or even evade your attack.
Example: (I use the symbol "*" to shot that I am doing a roleplay action)
*He runs towards his opponent, kicks his feet away from under him and skewers him with his blade*
As you can see the opponent has been killed without giving him any choice but to accept it. That is god-moding, you took control and let no one else interfere.
The proper way:
*He runs to his opponent and kicks at his feet, following up with a quick stab towards his opponent*
As you can see, the opponent now has a chance to evade or do something else.
No cheating- If any of the GM's find that you have modified your character without the consent of a GM like increased stats or given yourself abilities the GM will either remove those stats and make you change it back to normal, or in worst cases, kick you out or make you start over!
Do not cheat.
Q: What systems are in place?
A: There's a huge list of systems, some have been implemented in the game, and some have not.
However, these systems will be used in the actual roleplay so lets get to the list:
Leveling - There is none, the only way to increase your stats are by training, lets say you want the job "Bard" then you need to train your charisma, because honestly, who wants to listen to a squeeky bard? (Other than Justin Bieber fans), also if you finally get your job, like being a Bard, or being a Guard, just by doing your job, you will slowly train your stats. Not as fast as actually training them, but they will still grow little by little.
Abilities - You don't get abilities from levels, or any stuff like that. You learn abilities by learning.
Lets say you want to be a Warlock that summons demons, if you want that you will need to find someone willing to train you in the craft. (Or if you're very lucky, find one of the many hidden scrolls that teaches ancient forbidden knowledge).
Morality - Your morality is something you set at the very start of your character, after that you can either decrease or increase your morality through the actions of your character.
Lets say, you see a small child crying, do you go over and help the child? Or do you use her as shark bait?
Actions like that will help your morality grow or weaken.
Fame - This can determine what adventure jobs you can take, the higher fame the more people love you. However, the lower your fame is, the more scared people will be of you.
